The project aimed to provide a sheepfold for the three urban-rural cores that make up Nueva Mestre. The sheepfold, built on a 30-hectare central area, is managed by the newly formed cooperative and is used to raise sheep in the wool/meat line. The medium-term goal is not only to sell the meat and wool, but to use the latter to make and sell handicrafts (sweaters, scarves, etc.).
