Creation of a multi-purpose infrastructure, co-financed by the European Union, in the third settlement in the locality of Nueva Mestre inaugurated in October 1998 in the presence of Mr. Ambassador of Italy to Paraguay, Dr. Giulio Cesare Piccirilli. The infrastructure is named “Local Comunitario Ciro Martinez” in memory of the project leader murdered in Paraguay’s capital city in November 1997. The facility is used for short training courses for adults and youth held in collaboration between ASeS and technicians from the Ministry of Agriculture and Health.
