The Toba Qom Indians of Cerrito (about 500 people) were living in extreme poverty, and the project aimed to help increase the food security and self-sufficiency of the Toba Qom Indian community through the planting of crops (general horticulture, corn, beans, cassava, etc.) on a 4-hectare plot donated by Department Governor President Hayes.
